Happy Birthday to your daughter! 18 ? My goodness. I've got a few years yet till that one but I am secretly looking forward to it.

By the way, I love the new blog look. Great. Did you make it? Love it.

I hope we could all read in a few(!) years another post entitled "happy 108th birthday goth daughter!"

Thanks for the wishes.

deviousDiva, The CSS layout template is courtesy of Cristina Calabrese aka Pannasmontata. It's a great template because it gives me the freedom of changing my blog's masthead according to my mood and season, without needing to change the entire format. I did a lot of tweaking too.

Nuntius, You bring a breath of European air & flair on my humble blog. Welcome back from your European excursion!
If you read Happy 108th birthday goth daughter on THIS blog that means that I will be... 130. Hmmm. Could happen, if they come up with the right elixir. Soon.

Thanks for the wishes EllasDevil, but the real fun will be Saturday. Daughter#1 will host a birthday party for her friends, old classmates and new university colleagues at our home... We (parents), naturally are banished from attending. I hope they don't burn the house down...

Happy Birthday to your daughter! I hope she has a fun party, bereft of any incendiary devices. Ah, to be 18 again!

Thanks Melusina. I'd be happy to be 30 again!
